Rajendra Babu,

Justice S. Rajendra Babu, former Chief Justice of India, is the Chairperson, National Human Rights Commission, India. He has delivered several landmark judgments in the Supreme Court in civil, criminal, constitutional, environmental, taxation, corporate law and intellectual property law matters. He is ICICI Chair Professor in the National Law School of India University, Bangalore, India. He is the President of the International Nursing Services Association for last twenty-five years, engaged in giving advance training in community health work. He was conferred with the degree of Doctor of Laws (LL.D.) by the Karnatak University in 2005.
